INSPO: LIBRARY

I would absolutely love to have a floor to ceiling book shelf. Here's to hoping in the near future, my book collection would have finally grown enough that I require a ladder to reach them all. I've collected some pictures here of some really nice library designs. Bon Apetit!

INSPO: BLACK INTERIOR DECOR

Hey ya'll so I've recently started an Interior design course for myself and hopefully in the near future in about three years or so I should be out there helping others design or redecorate their homes. Your probably wondering what’s with the entire black interior decors? Well since I’m studying to be an interior decorator and this is part of my current project, I thought it would be nice to share my new findings and inspirations.

INSPO: CHRISTMAS JUMPERS

'Tis the season once again of merry making and the distribution of THOSE sweaters. Woven with threads of colour and character and infused with lots of (grand)motherly love, these sweaters are a welcome addition into any wardrobe (think more blonde six-foot stunner rather than IT Major stay-with-the-parents 30-something-year-old guy)
PS. Not that there is anything wrong with IT Major grads :)

So, enjoy the silly season with some eye candy I found. Happy Holidays everyone.

DIY: RECYCLED FLOWER VASES

Lets face it we should all be recycle anything worth saving and since the creation of "Pinterest" I've been feeling extra guilty for not recycling or being as creative. The amount of endless joyful hours repining other peoples creative and innovative ideas is extremely divine. Feel free to stalk me on Pintreset just click the link on the side bar.

One if the many things I've taken as a creative inspirations are the recycled flower vases. they are beautiful and most of all simple!
Ok, well I actually haven't done anything over the top wow but its still awwe. All I did was peel off the labels of some Jam jars and glass bottle drinks and filled them up with water and roses, then Bammm!
I unfortunately haven't been able to take photos of my DIY flower vases however take inspirations from these lovely images (which do not belong to me) and start peeling them jar labels and in no time we'll all be DIY experts.

OMBRE SKIRTS

Ombre, ombre everywhere. So it seems ombre almost absolutely everything is out and I am so in love with it. I recently bleached my denim vest by using the ombre method and it turned out fabulous. I am yet still to blog it for you guys.
On a lighter note I just wanted to share with you guys the ombre skirts that I found on google and Pinterest. Hopefully it will be my next DIY project. So stay tuned.

DIY: STUDDED POCKET

It seems everything has to be studded from shoes to handbags, clutch, vest and jeans.
Lately I've been seeing a lot of studded jean pockets which absolutely look amazingly cool, So the stud fanatic that I am these days I had to stud my denim shorts and I though Id share it with everyone however excuse the bed sheets background. I was already in bed and so I stayed in the sheets.

Need:
A Pair of denim shorts
Studs (8mm)
Scissors
Craft tool Long nose
Needle and thread (I used Blue)

1. Using your scissors slowly start to unstitching at least a quarter of the pocket and hold it down            (refer to image)
The best way to keep the pocket at the same place so that its easier for you to stud the shorts you could temporary pin the pocket down.

2. After you've finished unstitching the pocket, you can start studding your jeans by just placing and pushing the stud through the denim.

3. With this studded pocket I left no spacing with the studs. I simply placed and lined them closely together. This maybe the tedious part but its truly worth it.

4. Ta-da!! studding complete.

5. Ok, almost finished. All you have to do now is to saw the pocket down so that the unstitched pocket doesn't flap about,  Just need to saw it down.

Here is what mine looks like on.
